Attention seniors in zip codes 44109, 44142, and 44144:
Applications for Senior Farmer's Market Coupon Program will be available at Senior Citizen Resources, 3100 Devonshire Rd. in Cleveland FRIDAY JUNE 28 – FRIDAY JULY 5, 2019.
Deadline to return completed applications is Friday, July 5, 2019 at 2 p.m.  Any applications received after this deadline will go on a wait list.
Lottery will be held Monday July 8, 2019 at 10 a.m.
170 coupons will be distributed to the people chosen through the lottery on Tuesday July 9 and Wednesday July 10 between 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Senior Citizen Resources.
Eligible participants will receive $50 in coupons to purchase fresh locally grown fruits, vegetables, herbs, and honey from participating farmers.   
Applicants can only apply for the coupons in the county in which they live, and at a location specified by their zip code.  Proof of address will be requested from each consumer.  Participants must be 60 years of age or older, and have a combined household income of 185% or less of the federal poverty level guidelines.
The Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) is funded by the United States Department of Agriculture, the Ohio Department of Aging, and the Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging.
Anyone on the wait list is not guaranteed coupons; the program may or may not distribute additional coupons to SCR.

We have so much fun planned for this year's Senior Olympics (May 10 - 17), and we don’t want you to miss out! Registration fee of just $20 includes all events, the 2019 Senior Olympics t-shirt, and the catered Victory Lunch (If the cost is prohibitive, please contact us directly for potential scholarship opportunities).  We offer many events for competitors with limited mobility also; see below for a separate registration form. Registrations will be accepted in May, but please get your form and fee turned in ASAP to guarantee a t-shirt. The Senior Olympics is our biggest event of the year, and promotes physical activity and healthy lifestyles among our seniors.  See you at the games!
